Self-Esteem

Rebuilding self-worth after burnout, criticism or long depression.

A quiet, relentless inner critic changes what you attempt, who you date, and what you accept at work. It is learned — usually from somewhere specific — and it can be unlearned.

How care usually works

We treat the depression or anxiety fueling the critic, then work on the beliefs underneath it using cognitive and strengths-based methods — with unconditional positive regard as the baseline.

What we focus on

  • Assessment of underlying mood and anxiety
  • Cognitive restructuring of core beliefs
  • Strengths and values work
  • Boundary and assertiveness skills
