Trauma & PTSD

Combat, service-related and civilian trauma, including moral injury.

As a retired Army veteran, I have seen what carrying something for years does to a person — and how rarely it responds to being told to move on. Trauma care here is paced by you. Nothing gets pried open to satisfy a form.

How care usually works

We stabilize sleep and reactivity first, because nothing else is workable while the body stays on alert. Medication is used where it helps, paired with skills for grounding, and coordinated with a trauma-focused therapist when you want that added.

What we focus on

  • Veteran and service-informed evaluation
  • Sleep and nightmare management
  • Medication support for hyperarousal and mood
  • Coordination with trauma therapy
